Together we'll find our muse, our inspiration, our renewed sense of awe between the movement and the stillness.
Immerse yourself in the rituals and practices which cultivate an appreciation of beauty- whether horse riding, yoga, sound meditations or dance, sketching, stretching or savouring the tastes of local food cooked with amor.
This June
Journey with us into a magical space nestled along The Tejo to remember what makes you feel alive. We are collaborating this year with chefs, artists, musicians, sommeliers, cowboys, animals, teachers and students to indulge in a long weekend of exploration.
A farm lovingly given fresh life will be our home, the yoga decks, barns, pools and undergrowth the stage, the stables our private sanctuaries. We’ll dine under the stars and around the fires. Food cooked up by our favourite Argentinian chefs, practices offered from the whole Baraza family and many new faces guiding us on adventures.
Explore life along the Tejo at a picturesque farm which was recently, lovingly given fresh life. Discover the lands vegetable gardens and secret shaded spots, enjoy the pool, the pergola, fire pit all whilst overlooking the rolling plains of the Ribatejo.
Found in the old stables, the bedrooms reflect the essence of the surrounding gardens. They incarnate a mix of simplicity and creativity. Wooden furniture handmade by local craftsmen and artisans, plus fresh linen will ensure a relaxing sanctuary for your weekend of exploration. Conveniently located just under an hour from Lisbon...the journey will be a revelation.
This year Baraza Explores is collaborating with truly incredible individuals from all over the world who are excited to share their unique passions with you.
Every day you’ll get to choose which classes, workshops and presentations you’d like to attend. Our retreats exist to surprise and delight - to give you the space to enjoy familiar practices and to make fresh discoveries. To rekindle enthusiasm for old interests and amaze yourself with new found talents.
We love to give you the opportunity to curate your days as you please, giving the weekend an intimate festival vibration.
EZEQUIEL BRESSIA and FIONA GUITERREZ will be creating meals to remember. Simple, vibrant, seasonal faire that’ll leave you satiated through the day and in awe in the evening.
Our favourite Argentinian chefs will be mostly cooking in the fresh air with flames- using produce sourced locally from regenerative farms. You’ll leave writing down recipes - inspired to head to your nearest market once home to recreate their inventions.
